RecycleWorks Volunteer Academy

This County of San Mateo's RecycleWorks program is offering resource conservation courses at no-cost. These courses will provide volunteers with knowledge about conserving resources in our homes, businesses, and communities, as well as promoting environmental awareness throughout our county.

 

Participants will earn a certificate of completion after fulfilling the course's volunteer commitment.

The following events are taking place in the City of Pacifica

 

Free Shredding Event

  • January 24, 2015
  • July 25, 2015

Recycling Yard: 1046 Palmetto Ave, Pacifica

8:00am – 1:00pm (or until the shredding truck is full)

Each resident may bring up to six (6) banker boxes (or bags) of papers from shredding.

Be prepared to show proof of Pacifica residency…IDs will be checked

 


 

Free Composting Giveaway
